Terms of use

Last updated: 5 November 2026 1. About Daylio Daylio is operated by Coastal Web (“we”, “us” or “our”). These terms apply to your use of daylio.com.au. Daylio helps you organise household bills, recurring payments, appointments, events and reminders. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information. 2. Your account Provide accurate account details and keep your password and any authentication codes secure. Each household member should use their own account. You are responsible for managing access to your household and reporting suspected unauthorised access promptly. 3. Bills and reminders You choose the information entered into Daylio, including due dates, repeat schedules, timezones, reminder timing and email recipients. Keep these details up to date when your circumstances or bill arrangements change. Daylio does not pay your household bills or automatically verify information with your bill providers. Marking a bill as paid records your action in Daylio; it does not transfer money. We will use reasonable care and skill to provide the service. Email delivery can be affected by outages, spam filtering, incorrect addresses and other technical problems. Reminders may be delayed or fail to arrive. Continue checking original bills and important deadlines, and use an additional reminder method where missing a date could have serious consequences. 4. Household sharing and privacy Shared items may be accessible to other household members according to their permissions. Mark items private where appropriate and check your sharing settings before entering personal information. An item’s private setting does not prevent reminders being sent to additional email recipients you explicitly select. Obtain permission before adding another person’s email address or personal information. Additional recipients must complete the required email confirmation. 5. Plans and free trials Your plan determines the available features and allowances, including active items, household members and attachment storage. Where a free trial is offered, its duration and included plan will be displayed. A free trial does not automatically become a paid subscription or charge your card. You must choose and complete a paid subscription separately. When a trial ends, the household returns to its free fallback plan unless a paid subscription applies. Existing records are retained, but plan limits may restrict adding further items, members or attachments. 6. Paid subscriptions Payments are processed through Stripe. The price, currency and billing period are displayed before you subscribe. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual period until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise these recurring payments. If a payment fails, we may restrict paid features after any applicable grace period. Your household may then return to its free fallback plan. 7. Cancellation and refunds You can cancel future renewals through your household’s Plan page by selecting Manage subscription. If you cannot access this option, contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] for assistance. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Paid access continues until that date, and subsequent renewals stop. Signing out or stopping use of Daylio does not cancel a subscription. For a change-of-mind cancellation, we do not normally refund the unused portion of a billing period that has already started. This does not limit any refund, cancellation or other remedy you are entitled to under Australian Consumer Law. Contact us if you believe a charge is incorrect or the service has not been provided as agreed. 8. Changes to prices or the service We will give reasonable advance notice of subscription price changes, including when they take effect, so you can cancel before a higher renewal charge applies. If we propose a material reduction to the service during a period you have already paid for, we will seek your agreement or offer cancellation with an appropriate refund for the unused affected period. We may make maintenance and security updates. We will provide advance notice of planned significant interruptions where reasonably possible. 9. Acceptable use Do not use Daylio to send unwanted messages, upload unlawful content, infringe another person’s rights, access information without permission or interfere with the service. You retain ownership of content you upload. You authorise us to store, process and deliver it as needed to provide Daylio and carry out your instructions. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address serious misuse or a security risk. Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve it. 10. Closing your account Account closure and subscription cancellation are separate steps. Arrange cancellation or transfer of any household subscription before closing your account. Household owners may also need to transfer ownership. Closing an account does not immediately erase every related record. Shared household information and certain activity, billing and security records may remain. Our Privacy Notice explains our handling and retention of information. 11. Your consumer rights Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a service problem being fixed, cancellation, a refund or compensation. These rights apply despite any other wording in these terms. 12. Contact and concerns For account assistance, billing questions, cancellation requests or complaints, contact admin@daylio.com.au. Please describe the issue and the outcome you are seeking. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time. This process does not prevent you from contacting a consumer protection agency or exercising your legal rights.
